I made this dish in a cast-iron skillet, but if you don't have one handy, you can make it in a large frying pan.
It's super fast and easy to make, and of course - finger-licking good! Serve it with mashed potatoes and some steamed veggies.
Salmon with Creamy Lemon, Capers and Dill Sauce
Ingredients
skin-on salmon filets
2 cups of heavy cream
2 tbsp capers
lemon zest
lemon slices
juice from one lemon
fresh dill
salt and pepper
fish seasoning
Step-by-Step Instructions
Season the salmon with salt and pepper and any fish seasoning you prefer.
Place it on the skillet (or frying pan) in a splash of olive oil skin side down. Cook for 3-4 min and flip over. Cook another 3-4 min until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and keep warm.
While the salmon cooks, zest one lemon. Slice half of it and juice the other half.
Once the salmon is out, throw in capers, lemon zest and lemon slices in the skillet. Add the heavy cream, lemon juice and dill. Simmer for 30 sec - 1 min.
Place the salmon back in and spoon the sauce over it.
Enjoy with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies.
